Snoring is a breathing sound produced during sleep by the vibration of the soft tissues of the throat when the airflow is partially obstructed. Very common, it is often benign but can also be the first sign of sleep apnea syndrome. At the Sleep Clinic in Yutz, near Thionville, we assess snoring and look for any associated apnea through a sleep recording by polysomnography.
